Fourteen members of the Will Family, spanning three generations, immigrated from Bavaria in August of 1834. They joined William Keil's communal society at Bethel, Missouri, and when Keil decided to expand his influence westward in 1855, the entire family followed to Aurora, Oregon. I have family photos going back five generations. I share information gladly, and would be happy to hear from other branches of the Will Family.

The town of Aurora, Oregon was a Christian communal society for the first 25 years of its existence, from 1856-1883, and it was the home of the Will family after the 1862 overland emigration. I edit the newsletter for the Aurora Colony Historical Society, and contribute to their website. I have a brief history of Aurora here, and a link to the Historical Society's website. | | |
| In the winter of 2003 I realized that although I might be capable of singlehandedly renovating my house, at the rate I was going I would be 105 years old by the time I got it finished. Figuring it would get done better and faster if I had help, I started planning and working on financing, and work began on June 5, 2003 with real contractors in charge. What a concept! I will be updating this section weekly for those who want to follow along. | | |
| In early August, 2002, after almost two dogless years, I adopted Elvis through a family connection. There was a divorce going on, and Elvis' fate was unclear. I accepted custody. Click on the link to see more pictures of Elvis. | | |
| Here are some photos I was particularly happy with. | | |
| One of the benefits of paying for a website is getting to publish whatever you want. Sex, booze, drugs, country music -- I'm talking about my autobiography. You read it here first. | | |
